I offer individual and group consultations in person (Santa Clarita, CA) as well as Tele-therapy.  Somatic Experiencing is one of the most comprehensive body-oriented modalities that helps heal traumatic events and stress disorders.  Learn to tap into your body’s natural healing abilities, regulate your nervous system, and return to a state of present awareness.  I take an integrative approach to mind-body healing by drawing from Yoga, Somatic Experiencing®, Polyvagal Theory and more. I work with youth and adults to provide ease through life’s transitions, helping them prevent and recover from the impacts of trauma, anxiety, emotional pain and chronic pain.

The impact of daily overwhelm, chronic stress and past trauma isn’t just stored in our minds; it’s also stored in our bodies, where it can create a state of dysregulation and inner turmoil. In fact, research shows that the nervous system creates the very foundation of our lived experience. Founder of Somatic Experiencing, Dr. Peter Levine, reminds us that “Trauma is in our nervous systems, not in the event.”  Somatic Experiencing sessions help you release the pain, stress, and traumatic memories that can be stored in your body.

As a Practitioner of Somatic Experiencing, I will teach you techniques to relieve stress, anxiety and ways to settle your nervous system and release the physiological activation you may be holding onto.
